Christmas

Christmas was so cool. I have never seen my sister express her joy for a gift during Christmas. Diana got an ipod for Christmas and seeing her so enthusiastic about her gift was my best gift.
I love her to death.

Esta Navidad fue muy bonita. Nunca habia visto a mi herman expresar su gusto por un regalo. Esta Navidad Diana estaba super feliz por el ipod que le trajo Santa Claus, y el verla tan gustosa fue mi mejor regalo.

Tamales!!!

MMMM..... Tamales!!!! The weekend before Christmas the women in my family made Tamales. It was so much fun that the work was not even felt. The final product was delicious.

Papi's Birthday

December 13th was my grandfathers' birthday. I was so excited. He turned 79 years old. Next year (if God permits) he will be 80! I have much to learn from my grandfather whom I adore. He is just awesome!

El 13 de Diciembre mi abuelito cumplio 79 años. Yo estaba super emocionada, el proximo año si Dios quiere tendra 80. Tengo mucho que aprender de mi abuelo aquien yo adoro. El es increible. Ojala y que Diosito me lo preste muchos años mas para poder disfrutarlo.

Thanksgiving

This Thanksgiving I have a lot to thank God for. I am thankful because most of my family is healthy and alive. My sister is doing better than ever. My grandparents are alive. My parents are there for me like always. My husband... he is just the sweetest husband in the world. We have many goals in mind and many projects to complete, some of which seem to be coming true. My life is full of hapiness and satisfactions that my family gives me. There is NOTHING like family.

el mundo. Tenemos muchas metas y proyectos y algunas se estan haciendo realidad. Mi vida esta llena de alegrias y satisfacciones que mi familia me da. No hay NADA como la familia.

This is Miguel's family. I went to visit them this month. The week was very long because I missed Miguel very much, but I also had a lot of fun with his family. Hopefully his mother will soon get her tourist visa so she can come and visit us.

Esta es la familia de Miguel. Los fui a visitar este mes. La semana se me hizo larga porque extrañe mucho a Miguel, pero me la pase muy agusto al lado de su familia. Espero que pronto su madre consiga su visa de turista para que nos venga a visitar!

1st Year Anniversary!!!

October 7, 2006. One year ago Miguel and I interchanged vowels and promised to love, honor and respect each other for the rest of our lives. A year has passed already and I still cannot believe how times flies so fast when you are having fun. Miguel as always has been wonderful to me and makes me very happy. I am very fortunate to have him around as a husband. He is just awsome.

Miguel y yo ya hemos cumplido un año de habernos casado. El dia de hoy hace un año los dos estabamos super nerviosisimos por que no sabiamos que nos deparaba el futuro juntos. Pues este primer año ha sido padrisimo. Miguel y yo, gracias a Dios, somos muy felices juntos. Yo lo amo, y el a mi. Epero que asi sea hasta que la muerte nos separe.

It is very hard to see this image... especially for me. To be honest I look back at
this photograph and I do not recognize it. The people of Villa de Fuente were lost, you could see it in their faces and in their eyes. It felt good to be able to help out with whatever we could, but never do I want to see my people like that again. I am very thankful to family and friends who gave me donations to send.

Es muy dificil ver estas imagenes para mi. Para ser honesta veo la foto y no la reconosco. La gente de Villa de Fuente se veian perdidos se veia en sus acciones y en sus ojos. Me senti bien poder ir a llevarle las donaciones que Ileana y yo recibimos de familia y amigos. Aprecio mucho que tanta gente le importe lo que pasa y se ponga una mano en el corazon para ayudar.

6 Months/ 6 Meses

It's amazing to believe that we have now been married for 6 months. Miguel has been so sweet and understanding with me that I truely feel lucky to be married to him. On Friday April 13th it is going to be 4 years since we have been dating. Now that is truely unbelievable.

Es increible creer que ya hemos estado casados por 6 meses. Es impresionante como el tiempo vuela. Miguel ha sido tan dulce y me considera tanto que realmente me siento una mujer afortunada por haberme casado con el. El Viernes 13 de Abril ya vamos a cumplir 4 años de ser novios, ahora eso es realmente increible. La gente dice que el primer año es mas dificil pero gracias a Dios la primer mitad no ha sido tan mal, al contrario hemos estado tranquilos y felices la mayoria del tiempo.
